Perfect Midnight Snack!

2 cups raw cow milk preferably grassfed and organic

  • 1 7/8 cups filtered water

  • 1/4 cup liquid whey

  • 4 Tbl lactose

  • 1/4 tsp Bifidobacterium infantis powder

  • 2-4 Tbl raw or pasteurized cream

  • 1/2 tsp cod liver oil unflavored

  • 1/4 tsp butter oil unflavored

  • 1 tsp sunflower oil preferably organic

  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil preferably organic

  • 2 tsp virgin coconut oil preferably organic

  • 2 tsp nutritional yeast

  • 2 tsp gelatin

  • 1/4 tsp acerola powder

Instructions

  1. Fill a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup with filtered water and remove 2 TBL (this will give you 1 7/8 cup water).

  2. Pour about half the water into a pan and turn burner on medium.

  3. Add the gelatin and lactose and let dissolve, stirring occasionally.

  4. When gelatin and lactose are dissolved, remove pan from heat and add the rest of the water to cool.

  5. Stir in the coconut oil and butter oil until melted.

  6. Put remaining ingredients in a glass blender.

  7. Add the water mixture and blend for about 3 seconds.

  8. Place formula in glass baby bottles or a glass jar and refrigerate.

  9. Before giving to baby, warm glass bottle in a pan of hot water or a bottle warmer. NEVER microwave baby bottles!

Cheese & Tomato Bites

Perfect for Lunch!
๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป Suitable from 6 months, for babies under one year cut into strips before serving
These work great hot or cold! ๐Ÿ”ฅ โ„๏ธ
Ingredients:
  • 5 or 6 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 50g freshly cooked rice
  • 40g grated cheddar
  • 100g tinned chickpeas
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Sprinkle of oregano
  • Pinch of black pepper
Method:
  1. Blitz together using a hand blender.
  2. Roll into balls and place on a baking tray.
  3. Bake at 190 for 20 minutes.
  4. Leave to cool down a little.
  5. Enjoy!

Mediterranean Fish Pie

Perfect for Dinner!

๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป Suitable from 6 months

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 2 cod fillets

  • 1 tin white beans

  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes

  • 1 onion

  • 1 carrot

  • 8 - 10 cherry tomatoes

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • A handful of fresh basil

  • A handful of fresh parsley

  • Handful of spinach

Method:

  1. Dice the fish and finely dice the onion, garlic, carrot, tomatoes, and herbs.

  2. Sautรฉ the onion until translucent then add the garlic and carrot. Cook until the carrot begins to soften.

  3. Add the tinned tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and paprika. Bring to a simmer then add the beans and fish.

  4. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes until the fish is just cooked.

  5. Add the herbs, spinach, and lemon juice.

  6. Top with the mash and a sprinkle of cheese and bake for about 20 mins, until the cheese is golden.โ€‹

Pea & Spinach Tagliatelle

Perfect Snack!

๐Ÿ‘ถ๐ŸปSuitable from 6 months +

Ingredients

  • A handful of Peas (petit pois out of preference)

  • Handful of spinach

  • Garlic and Mint (to a personal choice of taste)

Method

  1. Simply cook your peas (I prefer to use petit pois) on the hob in enough water just to cover them, remove a few once cooked, and place to one side

  2. Add in a handful of spinach and wilt down

  3. Add some garlic & mint (to your taste) then blend, blend, blend!

  4. Once a nice smooth consistency mix in cooked tagliatelle and the peas you put to the side

  5. Serve and enjoy!
